Manuel S. Waelder

lebt und arbeitet / lives and works in Frankfurt a.M.

A working artist in Frankfurt am Main. From 2002-2005, he studied Graphic-Design at the Art Institute of Phoenix (Bachelor of Arts 2005) and fine-arts in painting at the Goethe University 2011-2014 in Frankfurt under Prof. Klaus Lomnitzer (http://www.klauslomnitzer.de) and Prof. Dr. Jean-Christophe Ammann (former director of the MMK in Frankfurt am Main).  2005 he started to work with Bob Carey (http://www.thetutuproject.com) in New York City. 2007 working with Kutlu photography for Italian Vogue and GQ Magazine. After 15 years in the USA he moved back to Germany in 2009 where he started to develop his painting process. Since 2008 Manuel Waelder has concentrated on the development of his non-dominant right hand, and within this process of intense concentration on body and mind connection made many shifts through the new perspective on body and spirit in altercation with his person and and with his environment in the forefront. This brought internal research-fields of emotional language, breath-perception, and the inevitability of change in the daily focus. In 2013, he had his first Exhibition at the Goethe University in Frankfurt and was published in their catalog, and 2014 the renowned HFG OFFENBACH - with Pamela Kipp ‘Inners Spiel-Inner Play’. In the Fall 2016, he had his first solo exhibition in the Gallery Wild. April 2021 he will be part of the Historical Museum exhibition, while continuing to work with entrepreneurs within his life’s work of ‘Vertrauenskunst - Art of Trust’. The project has led him to work with the renowned Dr Nina Meyerhof, Carlos Warters MD, Cori Lathan, Dr Agnes Klingshirn, Tyrown Vincent and many more. 
Through the gratuitous opportunity of Mirek Macke & the Frankfurter Kunst Verein Montez, his next solo-exhibition will be in the summer of 2024.
